Transcending Darkness

Darker and darker becomes this cave
and I have become agonies' slave.
The oil in the lantern is about to finish.
The whole surrounding will become more devilish.
My aversion to apparition
wouldn't shake my strong determination.
No longer can I see that ray of light.
It's simply out of my sight.
But I've to fight.
My will power is my might.
One day my hardwork would
announce its triumph over destiny
and the ambiance
would be no longer gloomy. :)

So what..

So what if all my dreams get ruined.
So what if life had taught me
to be free of every single desire.
So what if I am unable to get what I always admire
So what if I always have to suffer pangs of defeat.
So what if my life is not sweet.
So what if God has always disposed
what I proposed.

In my life's battle being a loser
to me now hardly matter.
Though I am not a good conqueror
but I am a brave warrior.
No force can ever deter
my strong will power.

Oh Lord,Thee,Almighty
Let you make my way hazy.
But I promise you
 I will find my life's hue.
My hardwork one day
will surely overcome the obstacles
created by you.

The Burning House

That night when I was asleep

the house which always used to weep

which always used to groan

that it could never become a home

which used to witness the fight

of the husband and wife.

That house was burning.

I was awakened by people's squeaking.

The husband somehow managed to escape

and was therefore safe.

But his wife was stuck inside.

For help she repeatedly cried.

Her wailing, 

aroused his dead feeling.

Without caring about his life

he went to save his wife.

Embracing his lady in his arm

he heroically saved her from fire's harm.

The love between husband and wife

was again revived

after house's sadful demise.

The house indeed gave a great sacrifice.

Visiting college after hours

It was evening time

when I visited college of mine.

Is gate seemed so unwelcoming

made me feel as if I was intruding.

The cacaphonies of students got lost somewhere

Another ruler has come to the power

A deafening silence was ruling the place.

In its reign the charm of college did get fade.

The canteen stood drab and dull

Somebody hushed its hustle and bustle

The gourmet which once were so delicious

Now strangely tasted flavourless.

This wierd atmosphere

wasn't less than a worst nightmare

As the college with its inexplicable silence

was resembling an apparition's residence

The never ending silence was finally broken

by the jarring words

of the housekeeping department

The garden,located at college's entrance

soon captivated me with its mystical fragrance

The flower's pristine beauty

and the lawn's serenity

made me forget all my miseries.

While enjoying this newly felt rejuvenation

I realized the glory of garden 

always got lost in college's commotion.

Religious Disharmony

In a religious congregation

People from many religions held a discussion.

Instead of discussing for

Brotherly co-existence to

Bring peace in everybody's life

They were busy in quarelling

Whose religion should be accepted worldwide?

What a foolish they are !

Fighting for religion causing war.

Knowing that there is only one creator 

Of the beautiful Mother Nature

Do they not know

Religions are various paths to achieve God

Not a subject of war

When will they understand God is One

It look like fun

They fought in the name of Jesus,Allah and Ram

Although they are same

Having different names

Like our country which is called

Bharat,India and Hindustan.

Tsunami The terrorist (written on 28 December 2004 )

In the wee hours of December Twenty-six

Terror engulfed in Asia's South and

South-East

Greater than any landslides or 

earthquakes

It was the criminal Tsunami waves.

All were still asleep

Going to die in their sound sleep

Children seemed to be dreaming

Of horrifying monsters

When came Tsunami

With its great disasters

Thousanda and thousands could not

save their lives,

Fishermen were seperated

from their wives

People scattered here and there

were squeaking,shouting and crying

everywhere

Had Tsunami came just for destruction?

Or the humans to be caution?

That if they continue to disturb

Ecological balance, then

Mother nature would be more cruel to them.

Environment is Enviable

Preaching to save environment

Is a global feature

But is anybody really serious

On this matter ?

If yes is the answer

Why then it brings disaster?

The sun gives light everyday

Forests supply oxygen

In their own way

Rivers quench our thirst

Without expecting us to pay

Why then human beings

Disturb environment

From its natural stay ?

Clearing forests for land

Polluting the environment

In the name of development

Do they bring prosperity to one and all ?

Or allow a few to show opulence

At the cost of numerous downtrodden's

happiness to fall.

Why are people cruel

To the most generous mother nature?

For no fault of the environment

They seem to have abhorrence

In fact,they should be ashamed

of such repugnance

Throwing unbiodegrable things

Here and There

Allowing germs to grow from everywhere

Thinking that the others

also make it filthy

Then,how can environment be tidy?

When human beings play with nature

They alone suffer.

As global warming and much more 

Would destroy their future

So listen my dear friends,

Environment is amiable

But,if we

continue to disturb

The ecological balance 

Our future would be vulnerable.
